Brexit talks have been deadlocked during September and both sides are struggling to agree on anything substantive. Theresa May has laid out her plans to obtain a 2 year transitional period after March 2019 to allow the UK and the EU to gain further clarity regarding their future trading relationship after Brexit. It is hoped that if this is achieved it will provide businesses and industry with some much needed certainty. There were however, some big business stories throughout the month.
